2013 Cyber Corps Scholarships
Iowa State University has requested a renewal for funding from the National Science Foundation Scholarships for Service program to support students working in Information Assurance. We will be accepting 10 applications for 2013.
Program participants will take courses in information assurance as part of their regular degree requirements. In addition, all scholarship recipients will become part of an SFS cohort group and participate in academic (including taking 4 leadership courses (one per semester)), and social activities throughout the year. The scholarship also requires a service commitment consisting of a paid summer internship and two years of paid employment at a federal agency.
Graduate applicants should possess (or be receiving) an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with a GPA of at least 3.2. The fellowship includes all tuition and educational fees, as well as a $25,000 annual stipend.
The application deadline for Fall 2013 is March 29, 2013 .

In addition ISU is part of the IASP scholarship program. This program requires the students to submit an application along with the material from ISU to the DoD. The DoD will select the students. Information on the IASP scholarship can be found on the DOD web site. NOTE: Applications for the IASP Scholarships are due mid Feb to the DoD so we need them by Feb 01 to ISU.
